Our Mission

Our mission is to provide law enforcement an effective less-lethal tool that can be utilized at longer ranges, which results in optimal safety for the officer and preserves the life of an individual in crisis.

Test & Evaluation of The Alternative ®

The Alternative Ballistics’ Training Program is as important as the technology itself. Our Certification Program, which consists of two main sections, a classroom setting with written exam and a range setting with live-fire qualification standards, was designed by our team of law enforcement professionals and tactical training operators.

All courses are conducted by our traveling Training Team of former law enforcement officers, who train each department’s officers or their firearms and ballistics trainers (“Train the Trainer”) who can, in turn, train the department’s officers. For classes up to 20 officers, the program can generally be completed within one day, but our team will remain onsite as long as needed to certify each department’s designated group of officers.
